When is Day of Action?
Day of Action 2012 will be held on Thursday, June 21st.
Join us on the red carpet for our Day of Action Rally at 8:00 a.m., and enjoy food, raffle prizes and fun! Projects will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Why does United Way of York County have a Day of Action?
Day of Action is one of the largest volunteer events in York County. On June 21, 2012 United Way of York County joins with hundreds of other United Ways around the world to mobilize citizens in service to their local communities. To kick off our 11th annual Day of Action, United Way will host a "volunteer rally" event; then, more than 500 individuals will participate in over 75 projects at local agencies throughout the day. These individuals will include students, senior citizens and workplace employees from more than 50 companies.

How do I get involved in Day of Action?
Register as an individual, or grab your co-workers and register as a group! Project sign-ups will begin on April 9th.

What types of projects are available on Day of Action?
There will be a wide range of projects available for all ages and skill levels.
