“The painting contains one continuous black line that is connected throughout the image. This continuous line represents the main connections, people, community, and services that the United Way provides, throughout the county and the country. The only place where the lines are not continuous is in the face of the little girl on the bottom right. This little girl is also the only one who is looking out of the image and facing the viewer. This little girl represents those that the United Way have yet to reach.”
