United Way of York County Tocqueville Society:
The Tocqueville Society recognizes the generosity of individuals and couples who contribute at the highest level of personal giving, with a minimum annual investment of $10,000. Established in 1988, the Tocqueville Society of York County is the foundation of philanthropy in our community. These caring philanthropists demonstrate an outstanding commitment to improving the quality of life in York County.
Last year 85 Tocqueville members contributed over $1.1 million to the United Way campaign. Our appreciation to these generous contributors and the volunteers who have helped to develop our Society into what it is today.
Members of the Society receive local and national recognition and are invited to special Tocqueville social events during the year. This national Society cultivates community leaders who work to build a stronger community and who inspire others to greater philanthropy.
