Community Partnerships

Finding solutions to the complex issues facing York County requires nonprofit organizations such as United Way to develop partnerships with the business community and public and private institutions such as colleges and universities and federal, state and local governments. 

United Way has embraced new strategies that engage the community in addressing the complex issues facing York County.  By leading or participating in initiatives that get at the root causes of issues such as quality early childhood education, access to health care and disaster preparedness, United Way and its partners find solutions and fund programs that improve the lives of people in York County.  Examples of current community partnerships include:
