Why Quality Matters

Nationally Accredited Providers

Centers are accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) when they reach a high standard of excellence.

Centers must comply with a stringent set of standards governing every aspect of their program. Centers submit paperwork, develop program and classroom portfolios highlighting the work they do and participate in an on-site assessment. Centers also submit annual reports to NAEYC.

The National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) accredits home-based providers. Home-based providers must comply with high quality standards and have an on-site assessment.
