On Wednesday, October 3, the Emerging Leaders Society will host its second and final Lunch & Learn of the year. Hosted at Glatfelter Insurance Group, Leaders Heights building, members are invited to attend an informative Lunch & Learn featuring Josh Carney, President at Carney Engineering Group.
About our presenter
Josh Carney, P.E., is President and Owner of Carney Engineering Group (CEG). Josh founded CEG in January 2009, and supervises the firm’s structural design and forensic engineering work. In addition, he oversees firm management, business development, marketing and top-level project management. Josh holds 23 years experience in structural engineering, specifically with historic renovation and preservation, forensic engineering and analysis, longspan steel structures, design/build and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
Josh is also heavily involved in his community, serving on the Board of Directors for two United Way Partner Agencies, Leadership York and Child Care Consultants, as well as on the York Suburban Education Foundation Board of Directors, the PSU York Advisory Board, and as Chair of the Board of Directors for Working Class Maker Space.
His presentation will focus on the self-made CEO, as well as the importance of community involvement and community advocacy.
