Day of Action 2016

Join us on June 17th for Day of Action and get ready to MAKE GREAT THINGS HAPPEN in York County.  Day of Action is an annual volunteer event where hundreds of community members come together and harness the spirit of volunteerism. With hundreds of projects there is something for everyone to get involved in. Make sure you celebrate the day with us by joining us for our Volunteer Picnic.  There will be free food, team games, and giveaways. All volunteers are invited to attend!

About United Way Day of Action

Each year, United Way of York County joins with hundreds of other United Ways around the world to mobilize citizens in service to their local communities.  As one of the largest volunteer events in York County, Day of Action offers over 700 volunteers the ability to engage with local agencies in various acts of service.  These volunteers come in the form of individuals, students, senior citizens and workplace employees from more than 70 companies, and participate in a wide range of projects—anything from painting or gardening, reading to children or serving the senior population.
