Join Women United for a fun evening around literacy and the power of reading!

5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Women United is excited to partner with the York County Literacy Council to offer a reader training event called Literacy For All Ages: Let's Taco 'Bout It! Join us to learn more about literacy and the power of reading to all ages, from early childhood classrooms to memory units with older adults. Taco-themed food and drinks provided, plus some helpful tips to make reading aloud engaging for any age.

That night, you can sign up for a date this fall to put your skills into action! We're partnering with early childhood centers and other organizations to place readers for a one-time or ongoing commitment.

A donation of $5 is suggested, cash only that evening.

Donations will support Women United's Little Free Libraries located in Dover and Red Lion.
