United Way of York County is on a mission to assist working households on their journey toward financial stability.

With that mission in mind, we’re supporting every household’s ability to be financially independent and secure.

Free Tax Preparation

United Way of York County provides free tax preparation services, otherwise known as the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, to families and individuals meeting a specific income threshold.

Are you interested in being a VITA volunteer? We are always in need of tax preparers, greeters/screeners, interpreters, and more! For more information, please click here.
