Do you know someone in need of a meal this holiday? Please share this list of holiday meals being served throughout York County. 

If you have an abundance to give, please take note of organizations accepting food donations or in need of volunteers.

12th Annual Cranksgiving York
Benefitting York County Food Bank
Begin at York County Food Bank, 254 W. Princess St., York, PA 17401
9 a.m. Saturday, November 17
Participants will ride their bicycle to the list of stores provided at registration and purchase the item(s) on the list for that store. It is up to you to plot the fastest route to as many stores as possible and finish by 11:30 AM! Those riders that go to the most stores in the least amount of time (time bonuses included) are eligible for prizes. Registration is free, you may buy as little or as much food as you like along the way!! All of the food purchased during this event will directly benefit the York County Food Bank's Give A Meal program. This program partners with 13 school districts throughout York County to ensure that no family goes to bed hungry this holiday season. Register online at

Bring Your Turkey to Church Day
Benefitting York County Food Bank
December 9
York County Food Bank is interested in partnering with churches throughout York County to participate in a "Bring Your Turkey to Church Day." Encourage your church to participate in this one-day event that will assure that hungry families have a joyous holiday meal this year! All you have to do is bring a frozen turkey to your service of participating churches on December 9. York County Food Bank volunteers will collect the turkeys after the service that day. Turkeys given through this county-wide event will be used in holiday meal boxes packed through the Give A Meal program. Contact Debbie Krout at 717-846-6435 to participate.
