"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success." — Henry Ford
United Way of York County will be hosting Professional Development Meetings for Private and Parochial Early Childhood Educators starting January 31, 2019. Community stakeholders are also invited to attend. Our first meeting will be held at 11 a.m. January 31, at the United Way of York County’s Community Room, 800 East King Street, York, PA, 17403. At our first meeting, we will discuss professional development needs and suggestions to create a calendar for the upcoming year.
The meetings will typically be an hour and half in length. The first half is community networking and updates presented by each of the organizations who are attending. The second half narrows down on a particular topic where the community supports each other’s successes and challenges surrounding the topic presented. Frequently, guest speakers are brought in for an in-depth insight on the topic.
