Day of Action

Don't miss the largest one-day volunteer event in York County!

Every year, United Way pulls together hundreds of volunteers to make Day of Action happen: Local companies are encouraged to give employees the day or part of the day off from work so that employees can volunteer and see first-hand how important volunteering is to local organizations. Volunteers can choose from a wide variety of projects, including: painting, reading to children, landscaping, even installing fire alarms. In 2018, 991 volunteers from 107 companies helped through 77 hands-on projects and donation drives for one giant day of service for our community.

Day of Action is a great chance to bond with your team, get out of the office and make great things happen for our community.
